But now, I'm back, and I've brought along some (hopefully) nice pictures! The bf and I went to London on vacation two weeks ago, and one thing I just had to visit there was, of course, Highgate cemetery.
We went on a guided tour of the western part of the cemetery, and wow, this place is a dream come true. The company that used to own and manage the cemetery closed it down in 1975, and even before didn't really keep it managed all that well, so the whole thing is pretty much wild and overgrown. It is now managed by a non-profit organization that is trying to preserve the countless historical monuments, tombs and graves it holds without destroying the place's natural, overgrown beauty.
I could have spent hours there, but sadly, you can only go there as part of a tour, and you have to keep with your guide, so no poking around in the undergrowth, or even taking much time with your pictures *sigh*. But still, some of them turned out rather nicely.
I'll upload most of them either this evening or tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth-bound misfit...
...or rather, would be, if dev-art wasn't such a b*tch *grumblemutter*.
Call you next week, when it's not so busy anymore.

Yes, we need to go out for coffee, since I'm actually back to drinking the stuff
